56 East Cross Street
Ypsilanti

Housed in a building dating back to 1850 in Ypsilanti’s Depot Town, this restaurant, near the railroad tracks, is filled with railroad memorabilia including lights and crossing signs.  The walls are exposed brick; the ceiling made of pressed tin.  There’s an ornate wood bar and a moose head on one of the walls.  It’s all very cozy and charming and their burgers were voted the best by Esquire Magazine.
